This year's ALMC stages rally saw two crews from the Curran Motorsport camp take to the stages
near Duleek. Gene Callan and Sean Brunton in the Escort were 42nd on the road and did take a
cautious start in the unpredictable conditions and lay 46th overall after the first loop. Colm and
Declan Brady in the honda civic lay 31st overall. Both Drivers promised a MAJOR ATTACK on
the remaining stages.
After stage 6 Gene had moved up to 40th overall after an overshoot he still lay an impressive second
in class 12.Colm also climbed the leader board to 25th overall.Colm reporting a major moment on the
stages. Decided to consolidate his lead in the class of the Midland East rally championship and backed
off for the remainder of the
rally.
Gene callan fiished the event in an impressive 29th overall and held on to second in the class.
Colm steady pace on the final loop saw him finish in 22nd overall. Both crews can`t wait until their next
event in OLDCASTLE.
Breaking News Martin Brady and Ollie Tynan have just purchased new rally cars, both hoping to compete
